COOL THINGS TO MAKE WITH LOOM BANDS ON YOUR FINGERS HOW TO
So I have my lovely 9yrs old neighbour ( Kids’ Chaos’s son) teaching us how to do the Inverted Fishtail for you. I don’t want to spend hours on youtube leanring how to do these things) and kids listen to other kids.
Yes, I like to craft with my kids, but certain things, I feel are “theirs” (i.e. The thing I really like about the loom bands – especially the Finger Loom Band patterns – is how the kids are all teaching each other. (Such skills are especially important for school-age kids, who are the most avid fans of these kits.) And planning color combinations and deciding how to use them. We got our Rainbow Looms from Cuthberts Toys. Aside from giving kids something pretty to wear and share with friends, making Rainbow Loom bracelets can teach kids important skills like focusing on a task and following directions. It took us a little longer to get there, as my kids are 4yrs and 6yrs old and though the 6yrs old can JUST about manage the Loom Boards, we had to discover “Finger Looming” first.
